Tragedy in Italy. The Italian referee Daniele De Santis, 33-year-old referee of the Lega Pro (Series C), has been stabbed to death along with his couple, Eleonora Manta (30 years), in his Lecce address, as reported by ‘La Repubblica’ on Tuesday.

De Santis began his career in professional refereeing in 2017 debuting in B series as fourth official in a match between Pisa and Benevento, and his colleagues wanted to show their pain at the tragedy. “I am shocked.
