Interview with Bigote Arrocet: “I lent 50,000 euros to Las Campos and they have not returned that to me”

Edmundo Arrocet tells once and for all the truth about his aforementioned loans to María Teresa Campos and her daughter Terelu and also dismantles the alleged problems with the Treasury, ensuring that they have seized him due to a misunderstanding.

The statements of Bogote in it Chester of Risto Mejide They have once again uncovered the thunder box. It is the second time that the comedian born in Buenos Aires tells his version of his almost six-year relationship with María Teresa Campos, who died two months ago.

The comedian, who turns 74 at the end of November, wanted to deny many of the accusations that have been leveled against him. Like saying that he lived at the expense of Teresita, as he affectionately called the presenter, or that he had broken up with her, saying goodbye for WhatsApp.

In the previous interview for the magazine Ten minutes Edmundo dismantled these accusations, arguing that they are completely unfounded. And that he lived with the presenter in her house because they were her boyfriend, he helped her resolve many domestic issues. After an argument in Malaga, he spoke to her clearly and informed her in person of her decision to break up their cohabitation and leave her, although maintaining the affection he felt for her.

We wanted to talk to Edmundo about the loan he made to both María Teresa Campos and her daughter Terelu. Something he had never wanted to reveal. It was the communicator herself who told it naturally to one of the friends with whom he played cards, but now it is Bigote who remembers them: “Terelu always returned my money. I was happy to lend it to them, as I did with Teresita the first time in Malaga, when I saw them one day with their little teary eyes,” recalls the comedian.

“I would have done it with anyone close to me if I had seen them like that, but even more so if it was someone you love. However, I would never have told it. It seems in bad taste to me. Until you explode because of the lies that outrage you or make you angry.” They call it cool,” he explains.

“The first loan was 10,000 euros. And since Teresita had an emergency, and for me, at that time, getting it from outside was difficult, the money left her daughter’s account. Then, she needed another 10,000 and 30,000 euros more. In “In total, I lent 50,000 euros to the Campos and they have not returned that to me.” I would never have told it if they hadn’t accused me of living at his expense. I asked him to give it back to me when we fought but he never gave it back to me and now that doesn’t matter at all,” she concludes.

“María Teresa spent a lot and had very open hands”

Why did Teresa need money if she had made fortunes? we asked him. “I don’t know, I never asked about her finances nor she about mine. I can only say that she spent a lot of her money, that she had very open hands, that she helped others.

And about that recent information that you are broke?

My economy is going perfectly. That nonsense makes me laugh. Things are going well for me, I have business in Chile above all, but also in Argentina. And good contacts throughout Latin America. It can be checked in the dossier of the Iberiolica group, which has made the most important wind farms in South America possible. There they recognize that it has been thanks to my management.

And as for that matter of your assets seized by the Treasury?

It’s easy to explain. Since 2015, the Treasury has sent me requests to an address in the Canary Islands, which is not mine. I’m not even the recipient. He is another man that I don’t even know. These types of organisms, while things are clarified, seize it, then release it. I am very calm.
