Guevara: “I didn’t think I could get away so much”

MADRID, 19 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish rider Izan Guevara (GasGas) was surprised to have managed to escape and win the Moto3 race of the German Grand Prix with confidence, although he knew that they had the necessary “rhythm”, and he limited himself to continuing “pushing” during the whole test.

“It was a great victory. We knew we had the pace, but I didn’t think I could get away so much and win by more than four seconds. It seemed like clockwork, we’ve been very consistent,” he said in statements provided by his team.

“It was very hot, but I didn’t want to think about how many laps were left. I just kept pushing, but when I had a bit of a margin I started to control, until the end of the race. It’s our fifth consecutive podium finish, the second victory, and if We continue like this, many more will come,” he concluded.
