Granada approved and failed: disaster and quarantine for Torrecilla

1-Louis Maximian. ‘SuperMax’ is noted with some doubt although he is still the First Division goalkeeper with the most stops, which says little about the defensive work. He doesn’t have a wall capable of defending him and every ball that comes to him is half a goal unless he makes one of his wonderful saves.

Shield/Flag Grenada

17 Quinn. The heart of Granada came to the rescue to cover two goals in the first few minutes. With the change to line four he had to eat Morales’s brown. He ended up unstitched. He wanted to do everything and nothing came of it.

16-Victor Diaz. Morales left him like Pedro for his house in the 0-1 play. Displaced and with a feeling of little coupling to the line of five proposed by Torrecilla. Substituted after the break because he also had a yellow card.

6-German. exceeded. He arrived late to cover the center of Morales in the first Valencian goal and in another action where Morales had the 0-2 in a ball that he hit the post. He saw the fifth yellow (he has ten) for an entry on Melero. To make matters worse, the VAR discovered a penalty of his on the insatiable Morales that had catastrophic consequences: second yellow, expulsion and 0-2. He has eleven yellow cards, he will not play against Atlético and on top of that he will continue to be warned when he reappears. A performance to forget.

22-Sundays Duarte. General Duarte of the best times Dani Gómez would never have gone so easily to score. Absolutely out of place at 0-3. The first thing that Soldier did after leaving was outwit him to almost score the 0-4. Of course, Soldier was more alone than Crusoe when he scored 1-4. He wandered down the left side of the defense like a banshee.

3-Escudereither. He hit a free kick on the crossbar and cut Miramón 0-2. He helped in all lines and is the only save from Granada’s defensive disaster. He tried a goal from his field to Raúl De Tomás. He played a fireman but he couldn’t put out all the fires

18-Petrovic. Nothing at all in the first half. Nothing at all in the second except getting a warning for protesting.

5-Luis Milla. The spring played more than a yellow for a clash with Miramón. He ran the game on the run with less sense than required. He was relieved at 70′, a very unusual change.

10-Doors. The multipurpose player was placed as a midfielder entering from the second line. Less active and omnipresent than on other occasions, it was changed at 70′. In a game like this he could and he should take better advantage of it. In vain.

11-matches. More only than one to overwhelm the rival defense and in particular Rober Pier. He had the character to seek solutions. But nobody seconded him. They also fried him for fouls.

23-Jorge Molina. The immortal, after a first half annulled by Vezo, was able to put the opposing goalkeeper to work at 51′ before the VAR made its revolution. He tried in every possible way. Nothing came of it. Mind you, he left his life until he was changed. He claimed a penalty.

From the bench.

35-Hill. He entered for Víctor Díaz to change the tactical scheme. It went to more. He scored a goal and put some of the little good in his team.

24-Uzuni. The Albanian jumped onto the field as a late call to the epic. zero potato

19-Montoro. He reappeared after a time of absence due to injury. Cárdenas made a save at point-blank range. Nothing more.

26-Isma Ruiz. The youth squad came out in the final minutes to miss a goal that Collado gave him.

14-Matias Arezo. No options to do something interesting in a few minutes. He got injured.

Ruben Torrecilla. His line of five back made water everywhere. He changed Víctor Díaz for Collado to rectify the defense of four in another plan broken by the expulsion of Germán. Without tactical solutions, the team collapsed from minute one and signed his death after 0-2 and staying with one man less. His interim is quarantined. Ratified until Wednesday against Atlético. Eye…
