Granada and Cádiz face emergencies with the threat of relegation

MADRID, 27 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Granada and Cádiz face each other this Monday (9:00 p.m.) at the Nuevo Los Cármenes, in the last game of the twenty-sixth round of LaLiga Santander, vital for both, since a local defeat would bring the men of the questioned Robert Moreno, while the cadistas need to add to not move away from the salvation positions.

The Nasrid team (24), three points above Deportivo Alavés’ third-last place, is going through one of the worst moments of the season; they have not been able to win in the last seven days, and have five consecutive losses.

All this endangers the position of the Catalan coach, who will not be able to count on the Colombian Santiago Arias, Sergio Escudero and the Frenchman Maxime Gonalons due to injury, in addition to the long-term loss of Neyder Lozano.

For its part, Cádiz (20), four units away from a permanence zone marked by its rival this Monday, is eager to break its streak of three dates without winning so as not to move further away from its dream of remaining in the First Division.

With Sergio González at the helm replacing Álvaro Cervera, the yellow team, who will only regret the absence of ‘Pacha’ Espino, have improved their performance, but not enough to leave the dangerous positions. The draws against Celta (0-0) and Getafe (1-1) have not been enough to get out of the lower zone.
