Rayo Vallecano is looking for a forward and has turned to Cristian Herrera. The franjirrojo club likes the characteristics of this 29-year-old Canarian attacker, who currently militates in Lugo. Cristian was trained in the lower categories of Las Palmas, has experience in the Second Division and already knows what it means to live a promotion, since he got it in the ranks of Girona. It is not the first time that the left-hander, with a contract until 2021, is in the portfolio. His name has already sounded for the rayista group in the past.
Cristian Herrera grew up in the Las Palmas quarry. After going up to Second B with its subsidiary, Las Palmas Athletic —He scored 20 goals—, the striker went to Elche Ilicitano (13-14), where he scored 13 goals in 14 games.
