Flamengo Festival with Arturo Vidal in the stands

The Flamengowith a four goals from striker Pedro, beat the Colombian this Wednesday with a humiliating 7-1 Sports Tolima and easily entered the quarterfinals of the Libertadores Cup soccer.

Pedro, the hero in the Maracana with four goals and Gabriel Barbosa ‘Gabigol’, the reserve Matheus França and an own goal by Julián Quiñones, who also scored the stoppage goal, decreed the triumph of the Brazilian Mengao and their passage to the rooms.

In the next phase, Fla, who won the first leg played in the Colombian city of Ibagué by 0-1, will meet fellow Brazilian Corinthians, who eliminated Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires.

The experienced Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal was in the stands at the Maracana stadium, who arrived in Rio de Janeiro this Wednesday to finalize his contract with Flamengo and was besieged by journalists and fans of the Rio de Janeiro team.

In the second half, as in the beginning of the first, De Arrascaeta raised a cross, David Luiz finished off with a header and, again, Pedro appears to beat William Cuesta with the third of the night.

At 55 minutes, ten minutes into the final period, De Arrascaeta was once again the protagonist and left the ball as a layup for Gabigol to increase the score.

The Pijao team, led by coach Hernán Torres, scored the honorable goal at 62 minutes in a short corner kick in which the Chilean Rodrigo Ureña raised a cross and Quiñones, taking revenge for the own goal, beat the goalkeeper with a header Santos local.

The goal from Tolima “bullfighted” more the host team, who four minutes later, at 66, scored again with Pedro, who thus converted his third goal, this time in a previous play by the versatile Rodinei winger.

The half dozen came in the 72nd minute, when Matheus França, with only a few seconds left on the court, received a pass from Pedro and had no problem stoning Cuesta.

The rosary was completed in the 78th minute with a shot by Gabigol defended by Cuesta, but whose rebound was used by the inspired Pedro, who scored his fourth personal record and the seventh for the Rio team.
