Juan José Ballesta He doesn’t raise his head. Barely a month after being accused of an alleged sexual assault, he has been reported for an alleged robbery with violence. It happened last Monday and he spent the night in jail, as the victim filed a lawsuit against him. Now, El Bola has responded to that lawsuit with another and has presented a medical report of injuries, since he has had to go to the hospital due to their worsening.
Ballesta and the alleged victim had been friends for a long time. The second claims that the actor wanted to steal 50 euros and a jacket from him and in the struggle to prevent it they ended up hitting each other. Juan José’s version is very different, as he claims that the fight occurred when he refused to participate with him in a video clip: “When I got out of my house, we got into my car and I told him that I was not going to collaborate with him in the video clip. He reacted aggressively and I tried to protect myself with my legs. We got out of the car and started running. My friend and I got back into the car and after moving a few meters the police stopped us.”
This is also what his lawyer tells us, Beatriz Uriarte: “The version of the alleged victim does not fit because the police arrive very quickly, search the car and neither the 50 euros nor the jacket that my client supposedly stole from him are there,” he said in TardeAR. “He is overwhelmed with this situation, he is fine because we can prove his innocence but he dislikes being in the spotlight again and not for something exactly positive.” It must be remembered that Ballesta, after spending the night in the cell, was released without precautionary measures.
The lawyer also confirms that they have already filed the relevant legal measures: “My client told the police that he did not want to sue his friend, but seeing that he has done so, he has to defend himself.” And she adds: “He has had to return to the hospital because his teeth are moving, this is an aggravation of the injuries (pain in the face and lateral thigh) and can complicate things.”
