Eibar sleeps leader after beating Tenerife

SD Eibar will sleep as provisional leader having reaped a meritorious victory against an overwhelmed Tenerife that, although it had outstanding occasions, could not overcome the rigorous opposition of the gunsmith team (0-1).

Two of the occupants of the top sextet, as from Tenerife and Eibar, not only had very clear the initial premise of preserving their respective goals to zero but, in addition, they executed it almost perfectly, at least during the entire first half.

This conservative proposal by both of them not fitting so much any propitious in many phases of this period a pale game, with two quite retracted approaches trying to snatch the ball from the rival and initiate a rapid counter attack.

In this way, due to the respective goals, the danger almost did not prowl, except on a couple of occasions in which Mollejo tried to surprise Yoel at the stroke of half an hour, first with a shot at mid-height that the goal deflected with the hand, and then with a shot that went next to the strain of the visiting post.

Before reaching the fifteen-minute break, Alexander tried his luck with a center kick from the right, but Yoel, again with his hand, avoided the goal by deflecting the ball, with no time for anything else, resuming the game shortly after with a very different physiognomy from the beginning.

First it was Mollejo again who tested Yoel, but his shot was stopped by the goal, then he was in danger around the island goal, with a shot from Stoichkov that went high, and followed by another line from Tejero, but the goal cleared the ball, although the one who was close to scoring was Elady (m.61), but the post repelled her shot.

Tejero did hit the mark (m.75) with a sensational whip from outside the area, after receiving from Rober Correa he released a shoe that slipped irremissibly into Soriano’s goal and that, finally, not only completely disconcerted his rival but also assumed that his team obtained all three points.
