The France coach, Didier Deschamps, explained the difficulty that Poland posed this Sunday in the round of 16 matchup of the World Cup in Qatar 2022, but recognized the luck of having a Kylian Mbappé who solves “many problems”.
“It wasn’t easy because Poland was well organized to make us uncomfortable, but we always have the ability to find good connections. Then we have Mbappé, with the ability he has to solve many problems. Much better for us,” he told French channel TF1. after 3-1.
The French coach praised Mbappé who settled the game with a double in the last 15 minutes, two unstoppable kicks with which he added five goals in the World Cup in Qatar, the top scorer alone.
Deschamps highlighted the good chemistry of his team and the promising path, with a view to a quarterfinal match against England or Senegal, for which they now have six days off. “There has been unity from the beginning. We are in the quarterfinals and it is a joy, but everything has to materialize,” he said.
