The Spanish Under-21 coach, Luis de la Fuente, has assured that Dani Olmo, who last Saturday signed for RB Leipzig, is “very well advised” and “right whenever he makes a decision”, and hopes that both Jesús Vallejo as Brahim Díaz have “the opportunity to play” this season.
“Dani Olmo is always right when he makes a decision. He is very well advised and the only thing I want, for the sake of Spanish football and his own, is to continue maintaining that rhythm, that intensity and that desire to be a better player to have a good footballer in the future, “he said upon his arrival at the gala of the Sports Press Association of Madrid (APDM).
On the other hand, he wished that Jesús Vallejo, assigned by Real Madrid to Granada, and Brahim, with a few minutes in the white team, can have continuity. “The interesting thing for both Jesús Vallejo and Brahim is that at these ages they play. I would like them to have the opportunity to play in a club where they are given that opportunity,” he said.
Finally, the Riojan coach acknowledged that they are “very happy” with the work being done in the lower categories of the selection. “We have been on a good line for a few years, consolidating our work base, which is very successful in the face of the future options of continuing to grow.
