Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina find paradise for 5,000 euros per night: this is their vacation in Ummahat

The Portuguese and his family have anticipated the Easter holidays and have escaped for a few days to Ummahat, an island located in the Red Sea that has become the new paradise of the Saudis. Of those who can afford it, of course, because Cristiano Ronaldo y Georgina Rodriguez They have stayed with their five children in a luxury hotel whose suites cost a whopping 5000 euros a night.

Ummahat is the last stop on the tourist tour that the famous couple began when they settled in Saudi Arabia two years ago. In 2022, ‘El Bicho’ signed for the Al Nassr club and since then he has become the best ambassador of the Emirates and a high-class tourist. From Riad (the capital they live in) to the historic district of Turafi (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO), passing through Al Ula (a protected virgin desert), Cristiano and Georgina are exploring every corner of the country. Now it is the turn of this private island in the Red Sea that can only be accessed by private jet or boat. It rests on one of the few living coral reefs in the world and is part of The Red Sea Project, a tourism project that aims to convert a natural archipelago of more than 90 islands, the Al Wajh lagoon and 200 kilometers of coastline into the new epicenter of the luxury tourism. It is scheduled to be completed in 2030 and will have 14 hotels divided into five islands, two inland resorts, residential properties, a marina, leisure facilities and its own airport.

Cristiano and his family have stayed at the exclusive St. Regis Red Sea Resort, the work of Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and property of the Marriott chain. It is made up of 90 exclusive villas facing the beach or over the water and whose decoration blends with the landscape that surrounds them. They have between one and four bedrooms, as well as a private pool, terrace, solarium, butler and spa and beauty center. The complex also has a gym, kids’ club, water sports center (with sailing, windsurfing and kayaking) and three restaurants.

Here, the Aveiro-Rodríguez family has enjoyed long days in the sun on endless beaches, bike rides and excursions aboard a yacht. A few dreamy days that the Jaca model has summed up in just three words: “Love in paradise.” The footballer, for his part, has confessed that these days have served to “recharge our batteries with the family.”
