Conclave of aristocrats in El Pardo: from Eugenia Martínez de Irujo to the Koplowitz

The El Pardo palace witnessed an exceptional event this Thursday: the Ordinary Assembly of the Permanent Deputation and Council of the Greatness of Spain and titles of the kingdom. He King Felipe VI has received Spanish aristocrats, some as well known as the Duke of Alba, Carlos Fitz-James Stuarthis son and heir, Fernando Fitz-JamesDuke of Huéscar, or his sister, Eugenia Martínez de IrujoDuchess of Montoro.

The only daughter of the deceased Cayetana de Alba has chosen a very Spanish outfit, a black and white polka dot dress with ruffles at the top, shoulder pads and an A-line skirt signed by Inés Domecq and which she already debuted on Alejandro Sanz’s birthday in 2021.

She was not the only one. Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo, marchioness of Casa Fuerte, has also opted for a polka dot print in a model with a simple and wide cut that was adjusted with a belt. She has completed it with a beige trench coat and gold jewelry.

Esther Koplowitzwho has been part of the council since 1981, has arrived accompanied by her daughter, Esther Alcocer. Together they have created a perfect pairing black & white: one with a dress, the other with a jacket and pants suit.

There has also been no lack Xandra Falcondaughter of the late Carlos Falcó and Marchioness of Mirabel, who has chosen a discreet navy blue dress with a floral print.

The son of Nati Abascal and the late Duke of Feria have also ‘paraded’ before King Felipe VI, Rafael Medinao Fernando Ramirez de Harohusband of Esperanza Aguirre, count of Bornos and Villariezo.
