A. Alcaraz. Rubén Alcaraz completely revolutionized Cádiz. Since his arrival, he has shown himself to be one of the essentials and has been one of the bastions of permanence. Continuing in the highest category implied signing him. Magnificent news for Cádiz.
B. Block. If Cádiz has been characterized by something during this course, it has been for its enormous block. After the winter signings, the yellows enjoyed one of the most complete squads. Injuries could be solved with equally valid players.
C. We create. The slogans of the last week, ‘We create’ and ‘Believe until the end’ fully penetrated the Cadista fans. The promotional videos with the players of the first team motivated a fan to trust that permanence was possible.
D. Eighteen. The number of days Sergio has been at the helm of the team, with numbers that speak for themselves: six wins, seven draws and only five losses. He caught the team in 19th and saved it. In ‘his League’, his Cádiz would be the ninth.
E. Espino. Pacha is the watchword of Cádiz and cadismo. The Uruguayan has played 37 of the 38 league games, proving infallible. His performance has always been high and he is a gold mine in both defense and attack. This course has seen the door on two occasions.

H. Contains H. Luis Hernández. He arrived from Israel in the winter market and has played practically everything. With him on the field, the team has won in defensive strength. In attack he lavished himself with those throw-in centers that looked like corners.
I. Iván Alejo. A player of those who make a group. He doesn’t make noise when he doesn’t play and when he does, he gives the performance that he has shown in the final stretch of the season. One of the fixtures for Sergio who led the yellow reaction until the final permanence.
J. Jose Mari. In the preseason, a serious injury stopped him when he was at his best. Despite this, ‘the skinny’ came back tanned and eager. He has had a presence in the final part of the season, showing that he is fully recovered. Next year he’ll be back for more.
K. Contains the K. Akapo. He finished last season at a very high level and in this one he has been fundamental. He went to the African Cup when he was the undisputed starter with Cervera. On his return, he gained the confidence of the new coach and has had no rival. He was a great match at the Bernabéu.
L. Ledesma. Conan was essential last season to achieve permanence and in this one he has returned for his rights. His saves mark the way forward and have saved many points for the yellows. He saved a penalty against Celta in a great match for the Argentine.
M. Mirandilla. Many spoke of the ‘curse of the Mirandilla’ since the yellows did not win from the stadium’s name change until matchday 27. Since then: three wins, one draw and two losses, to achieve permanence.
N. Negredo. The ‘shark’ has been Cádiz’s top scorer for the second consecutive season with ten goals (seven league goals, plus three in the Cup). He had a bittersweet moment with the missed penalty against Real Madrid, but it doesn’t overshadow his great contribution.
Ñ. Contains the Ñ. Pineapple. If this Cádiz is characterized by something, it is by the great family that it forms. Not only its players, its fans are one of the most loyal in Spain and have supported the players in recent games, with massive receptions.
O. Contains the O. Mendizorroza. Mendizorroza will always be in the memory of Cádiz and cadismo. More than 1,000 yellow fans traveled to the Alavés stadium to cheer on the team in search of what seemed impossible. 930 kilometers and 12 hours of bus that were rewarded.
P. Permanence. It was the goal of the season and it has been achieved. The next course will be the goal again, yes, it will be tried to be more loose. What does not take away anything or anyone from this team is that they will face their third consecutive season in the elite. All a success.
Q. Attack. 22 of the 35 goals this season came from strikers. The arrival of Lucas at Cádiz in the winter market improved the performance of the yellow team and increased the options in attack.
R. Contains the R. Nephew. The striker only understands important goals. He scored last season against Granada to achieve permanence and this season he did so against Villarreal, at Mirandilla, to get the yellow team out of relegation.
S. Sergius. The real architect of this success. He arrived as soon as the second round began and has achieved the goal set by wrapping himself up with his ‘people’. He took a hit team and after instilling the idea of it, he has ended up saving it.
T. Contains the T. Portería. Permanence is forged from a good defensive balance. This season he has kept a clean sheet 13 times. A milestone that has given many important points for Cadista interests.
U. Contains the U. Lucas. Another of the winter signings who fell on his feet. He has scored three goals (four if we count the one at Mestalla, in the Cup), but two have been essential to get four points. And look at the places: the Sánchez Pizjuán and the Camp Nou. Almost nothing.
V. Contains the V. Salvi. One of the players most loved by the fans leaves Cádiz after seven seasons at the club. From Second B to First. 239 yellow games and 26 goals. He will always be in the memory of the Cadista fans.
W. Contains the W. Awer Mabil. The winger (he can play on both wings) is the first signing for next season. He arrives from Kasimpasa in Turkey. He is international for Australia, with which he has played 25 games and has scored six goals.
X. Contains the X. Álex. The man from Madrid has alternated ownership (22 games) with minutes coming off the bench (12) this season, but the last five games have been where he should be: on the pitch and as a starter. The magic of Cádiz corresponds to him.
