Burgos and Valladolid see them as square

Draw between Burgos CF and Real Valladolid (0-0) in the friendly held at El Plantío in a match that serves both teams to prepare for the season that begins in just a month.

Those from Pacheta dominated the match despite the fatigue of two games in a row against a Burgos that had some clear chances but that was not enough to surprise a Valladolid that was somewhat more shot than their rivals.

Burgos planned a defensive game, with five defenders to stop a Valladolid that appeared in Burgos with a very powerful team, which gave the first warnings to its former player, the expensive goalkeeper, imposed the rhythm of the match but they were those of Julian Calero those who had control of the ball.

First was Escudero the one who tried from afar and then Sergio Leon from the edge of the box, but the clearest chance to date was a direct free kick that grazed the crossbar.

With the Blanquivioleta team dominating the match, Burgos had a clear chance almost on the brink of half-time after a play down the left wing by Matos, who centered Valcarce to the far post.

With the visiting goalkeeper almost beaten, the Burgos player sent the ball wide in what could have been the first goal of the afternoon at El Plantío in the first arrival with danger from Burgos.

With the time fulfilled, a foul by Roque Mesa on Mumo ended in a brawl in which he himself ended up expelled Roque Mesa and Valcarce.

Pacheta renewed practically the whole team after the break, to recover after playing another friendly against Unionistas de Salamanca yesterday.

But the changes did not give another air to the game, once again Valladolid was more animated in the offensive plane and Gassana tested Dani Barrio who had entered the break for Caro.

Again Calero changed the eleven, forced in this case by the muscular injury of Frank Garciawho had barely been on the pitch for 15 minutes.

The game was declining little by little, with few arrivals and a result that did not change, but for Valladolid it served to control and have the ball, practically dominating the game in its entirety.

Touching the minute 83, Monchu combed youn corner in which Dani Barrio saved what could have been the winning goal for Pacheta’s side.
