Barça defeat CE Noia to lift the Parlem OK Liga

The Barça team extends its dominance in the record by closing the league final in the fourth game

MADRID, 23 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Barça prevailed (1-5) this Sunday at CE Noia Freixenet to lift its 34th title of the Parlem OK Liga de hockey patinas, sentencing an exciting ‘playoff’ at the Ateneu de Sant Sadurní d’Anoia.

The Barça team prevented Noia’s dream of achieving the second league in its history, after the one they achieved in 1988, which was their return to a final 21 years later. Barça’s dominance, only questioned by HC Liceo, twice, in the last 13 years, experienced a new chapter this Sunday.

Edu Castro’s men took advantage of their second option to seal the title and thus close an impeccable season, where they have only lost four games in the domestic competition, champions also this year of the Spanish Super Cup, the Intercontinental Cup and the Copa del Rey.

Two goals from Ignacio Alabart and another two from João Rodrigues, with the icing on the cake from Sergi Panadero, gave Barça an undisputed victory, their 34th League title and second in a row. Noia was far from forcing the fifth game at the Palau Blaugrana, with a solitary goal from Ivan Morales in the final stretch that barely worried the visitors.
