Arturo Coello, Agustín Tapia, Paula Josemaría and Ariana Sánchez will be in the Hexagon Cup

The number one in the World Padel Tour ranking, Arturo Coello, Agustín Tapia, Paula Josemaría and Ariana Sánchez will participate in the Hexagon Cup, a new team paddle tournament that will bring together professional players and future stars next February in Madrid, and in which personalities such as Robert Lewandowski, Eva Longoria, Andy Murray or the Rafa Nadal Academy have a team.

As reported this Wednesday by the organization, Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia, members of the number one couple in the world men’s paddle tennis ranking, will respectively represent the ‘Team Bella Puerto Rico’ of businessmen María Esteve and Carlos López-Lay and the ‘RL9 Team’, owned by Polish striker Robert Lewandowski.

The two best on the women’s circuit, Paula Josemaría and Ariana Sánchez, have also confirmed their presence in the tournament. The Extremadura native will play for actress Eva Longoria’s ‘ElevenEleven Team USA’, while the Catalan will do the same for the ‘RL9 Team’, where she will share a team with Tapia.

In addition, world number 4 Bea González will compete in ‘Team Bella Puerto Rico’, Delfina Brea and Martín di Nenno will be the professional players of Andy Murray’s ‘AD/vantage Team’, and former world number one Fernando Belasteguín, will complete Eva Longoria’s ‘ElevenEleven Team USA’.

The director of Institutional Relations of Hexagon Cup, Carlos Almazán, expressed that it is a “very important” day for the competition since they complete “the roster of franchise players” who will participate in the tournament. “We are very proud to be able to count on the best male and female athletes in our sport, which demonstrates the ambition of the tournament and each of the teams,” he said.

This announcement came after the confirmations of the players of the ‘Hexagon Cup’ teams, which will feature Alejandra Salazar and Paquito Navarro, and ‘Rafa Nadal Academy powered by Richard Mille’, composed of Martita Ortega and Álex Ruiz.
