Arnau Solà this Thursday has become the fourth reinforcement for the Rubi’s Almeria. File for the next five seasons. The left back, only 19 years old, arrives on a free transfer from FC Barcelona after spending seven seasons in the Barça youth academy. Arnau has not renewed after finishing the contract with the Barcelona subsidiary and becomes a bet for the future of the Andalusian club. A defender with a lot of future for Rubi.
As explained in the official statement issued by Almería, Arnau is a left back who at Juvenile age already stood out in the Blaugrana subsidiary under the orders of the former Almería coach, Sergi Barjuan (already former coach of the Barça subsidiary), having also participated in numerous work sessions with the Barcelona first team.
Almería’s new winger also has a good number of appearances in the UEFA Youth League and has been capped by Spain U19.
Arnau arrives for a position in which they are already Sergio Akieme, who also came from FC Barcelona, and Álex Centellesboth players who have a contract until 2025-26.
