Almería sign midfielder Samuel Costa

Although the operation was practically on track, Almería waited until 10:30 p.m. (with the corresponding suspense after its hackneyed 'F5' on Twitter) to announce the second addition of the day: Samuel Costa. The Portuguese midfielder lands in the red and white entity in quality of loan from Sporting de Braga, although Almería has a purchase option. The young Portuguese midfielder thus becomes the third midfielder to join José Gomes's team this week, after Aketxe and Morlanes.

Despite his youth (at the end of November he turns 20), the last piece of the UDA is well known by José Gomes, one more of the Portuguese market. Born in Aveiro, he has worn the Beira-Mar, Gafanha, Palmeiras and Sporting de Braga jackets, as well as that of his country, participating both in the U19 team as in the Portuga U20l. On July 25 he made his debut with the Sporting de Braga first team, playing the second half of the match against Porto. Almería presents it as a “All terrain for the medullary, where he stands out for his physical strength, aggressiveness and competitiveness, although he also enjoys quality, has a good ball output and a lot of travel in midfield”.

With his arrival, the Almeria painting has even seven personnel for the engine room, without counting the sections Vada and Enzo Zidane, who have not traveled with their teammates to carry out the preseason in Malaga. At three innings this week, we must join Chema, Petrovic, Aguza and De la Hoz (the last two fulfilled contracts this year and renewed three and two years, respectively). Thus, the arrival of Samuel Costa provides more ballots for Chema and Aguza to leave the Almeria discipline, making the incorporation of Luismi, from Valladolid, more complicated.
