Aleix Vidal and the new ‘derby’

He made his debut in Mallorca, on matchday 3, in the first match that Espanyol lost this season. And, for the previous week, for the match and for everything that also surrounds the duels between the two teams this season, Aleix Vidal acknowledges without mincing words that “it’s a good time to play against Mallorca, we always had a special rivalry”. A new derby that has emerged after recent tensions… And some other historical ones in recent years.

But everything accelerated with the arrival of Vicente Moreno and with the pulse that both teams maintained for the LaLiga SmartBank title the previous season. Now, capricious destiny, Luis García Plaza arrives with the rope around his neck. And Moreno, questioned a few weeks ago, can deliver the final blow to salvation. “We always play tough games against them, it will be difficult. In the final straight, everything is also more complicated, all the teams fight for a goal, but so do we”commented the end.
