Alba Bautista, eighth in the all-around competition of the World Cup in Valencia

The Spanish Alba Bautista closed the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championship with an eighth place in the final of the ‘all around’, a complete contest, of a 40th edition being held in Valencia, where the German Darja Varfolomeev was crowned.

Varfolomeev took the gold in the absolute individual that was added to the four apparatus medals, ahead of the Italian Sofia Raffaeli and the Israeli Daria Atamanov, silver and bronze.

Bautista achieved a finalist position and world diploma with the eighth best grade, while the Spanish Polina Berezina also finished 14th, with 125,500 points, in the festival of a Varfolomeev queen of Valencia with a total score of 137,450.
