Mattek-Sands writes on Twitter on Friday, “Let’s Do This!!”
Other players who also will be participating include former world number one, Victoria Azarenka. It will also feature Sloane Stephens who is the 2017 U.S. Open champion and 2016 Olympic Gold medallist, Monica Puig.
The event is not going to miss the appearance of Americans Amanda Anisimova, Jeniffer Brady, Danielle Collins, Emma Navarro, Allison Riske, and Shelby Rogers. It will also include Canadians Eugenie Bouchard, Leyliah Fernandez, and Australia’s Ajla Tomljanovic.
Charleston host the WTA’s Volvo Car Open and it all happens in early April.
