A brace from Sterling gives Pochettino’s Chelsea their first win

MADRID, 25 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Chelsea beat Luton Town (3-0) this Friday at the start of the third day of the Premier, thus achieving their first victory under the orders of Mauricio Pochettino.

The new and strengthened ‘blue’ team, which had started its new project with a draw and defeat, got all three points at Stamford Bridge against a recently promoted bottom team without scoring yet.

A brace from Raheem Sterling, whose form is the best news for the Argentine coach as well as a powerful midfield that is becoming understood, sealed Chelsea’s victory. The English striker scored a goal in each half and also participated in the third.

Former Villarreal player Nicolas Jackson was the author of the 3-0 lead in the 75th minute, his first goal for a Chelsea team that couldn’t fail at home against a recently promoted team after two games without winning.
