The manifestations of Antonio Fernández Monterrubio, After his dismissal as general manager of Granada, they have encountered a harsh response from the club through the following official statement that we reproduce below:
“Granada CF, in light of the statements made by its former CEO Mr. Antonio Fernández Monterrubio today, states: Its most energetic refusal and rejection of the accusations of harassment made by the indicated Mr. Fernández in said statements.
Clearly, Mr. Fernández was fired from the Club for disciplinary reasons.
That the Club makes an express reservation of rights and actions against Mr. Fernández ”.
Monterrubio, in a press conference before the media on Friday morning, wrote a farewell statement addressed to the fans and slipped that all kinds of obstacles were put to develop their mission in the general direction of the club: “They have been looking for something for months and they have not found it and they will not find it. They have put all the difficulties for me to throw in the towel. It is always unpleasant to see how there are people who make firewood from the fallen tree. Trust can be lost, education and respect cannot. They tried to bore me so that I would leave”.
The relationship between the current leadership of Granada and Monterrubio is abrupt and bad at the moment.
