Athletic Club seeks this Monday at Mallorca Son Moix (7:00 p.m.) to attack the European positions, in a thirty-second day of LaLiga Santander in which Sevilla and Girona, with their permanence practically tied, seek to confirm their good times at Ramón Sánchez -Pizjuán (9:00 p.m.).
Ernesto Valverde’s men, despite interrupting a streak of three consecutive league victories during the week against the Nervionenses (0-1), have the continental zone a stone’s throw away, especially after the defeat of Real Betis at the Spotify Camp Nou ( 4-0).
With 46 points, the Verdiblancos’ sixth place (49) -whom they will face next Thursday in a crucial duel- is only three away, and with a victory in Palma they would be able to sleep this week in Europe. In this company they will not be able to count on Oihan Sancet, who will have to complete a warning cycle, nor with the injured Jon Morcillo and Iker Muniain, while Iñigo Lekue is doubtful.
