Zverev and Rune complete the ATP Finals draw

MADRID, 4 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The German tennis player Alexander Zverev and the Dane Holger Rune closed the place for the ATP Finals in Turin, after the quarterfinal day of the Paris-Bercy tournament, both benefiting from other results to be in the Masters Cup.

Zverev, who had already fallen in the round of 16, took the ticket with the Polish Hubert Hurkacz out of play this Friday against the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas. Meanwhile, Rune, who lost to Serbian Novak Djokovic, later received the favor of Russian Andrey Rublev.

The Russian’s victory over the Australian Alex de Minaur in the last match this Friday in Paris allowed the mathematical ticket of a Rune that ended the accounts of the rest.

Thus, the ‘Top 8’ for the Masters Cup is left, with the fairly minimal option of changing the order of favorites: Djokovic, the Spanish Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Jannik Sinner, Rublev, Tsitsipas, Zverev and Rune . The event will be held for the third edition at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, from November 12 to 19.
