The fourth day of competition presented the best conditions, with a stable wind with intensities of 14-16 knots, increasing the tension in the fight for the championship. The dispute of the two scheduled tests compressed the scores at the top of the provisional Gold Group Final Series, in which the contenders for the 2024 title compete.
Two Japanese crews remain at the top of the standings: Tetsuya Isozaki/Yurie Seki and Keiju Okada/Miho Yoshioka, who alternated the lead from the first day. Fourth, the boat of the Spanish Jordi Xammar and Nora Brugman, which sought to continue the upward progression started the previous day.
Meanwhile, the Germans Simon Diesch and Anna Markfort made up for the two punctures of the previous day by dominating both races. Signing a perfect card allowed them to rise to provisional second position. Xammar and Brugman achieved their goal of staying in the leading group although they dropped to fourth place.
