Week 16 of the 2023 NFL season: What We Learned during Our Christmas Trip

Week 16 of the 2023 NFL season: What We Learned during Our Christmas Trip

The holiday fun starts with a rivalry game in the AFC West between the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Las Vegas Raiders.

Before their lackluster win in the New England Patriots last week, the Chiefs lost to the Buffalo Bills and the Green Bay Packers in a row.

Even though the reigning Super Bowl winners are already in the playoffs, they now want to win their eighth straight divisional title.

At the same time, the Raiders are trying hard to stay in the playoff picture as the season comes to a close.

It’s clear that the Chiefs have been the best team for ten years. But Patrick Mahomes and his team haven’t looked like the dominant force they were a few weeks ago.

Mahomes said earlier this week that he was eager to get the team back to winning ways. Mahomes told the press, “You always want to ensure that you’re playing your best football coming into the playoffs.”

That, along with getting better in these last few games, I think will help us make the playoffs and play our best football. After that, I think the AFC is wide open, and we can try to make it to the Super Bowl.

Las Vegas, on the other hand, comes into this week’s game having just won their biggest win of the season.

They beat the Los Angeles Chargers 63–21, which is a club record for most points scored in a single game.

This is how they’ll try to keep going in their last three games, which are all against teams ahead of themselves in the AFC ranks. Let us put that whole game together.

The Raiders have a 2% chance of making the playoffs right now. If they lose on Monday, that chance drops to less than 1%. With their season in the line, fans can expect a fight that is tough and close.

“You can kick as many field-goal attempts as you want against this team, but Patrick Mahomes will score more than one touchdown.” Who his heart goes to doesn’t matter.

At this time of year, Santa is known for bringing gifts, but he’s not the only one. On Christmas Day, the NFL is also delivering with its first-ever Monday tripleheader.

The Raiders beat the Chiefs in Kansas City in the first game, which was the biggest surprise of the weekend. It was close, but the Giants couldn’t make the catch. The Eagles came out on top 33-25.

The Chiefs lost, which means they have no longer a chance to be the top seed in the AFC. If Kansas City can make it past the wild card round, Patrick Mahomes could play his first playoff game on the road in January.

The Giants gave the Eagles a scare by driving all the way down to their 26-yard line in the last seconds of the second Christmas game. The Eagles held on to win.

In the last game of Christmas night, the Baltimore Ravens beat the 49ers 33–19 to make a point.

The Ravens are likely to be favored to win the Super Bowl on Tuesday, and Lamar Jackson is likely to be favored to win Most Valuable Player.

You will always be classy, that’s for sure. There’s no question that I’m not. I bring it with all my heart; I feel like Rudolph deserved to be here.

That being said, I don’t know if I’m far more Vixen because I’m sexy or Prancer because I can dance so well.

I’m not sure. I’m not sure what kind of reindeer I am. But I think that mode was right for me since we’re here together to help Santa. The little tie helped me be like Santa’s helper.
