The Brazilian forward Vitor Hugo Roque Ferreira, known as 'Vitor Roque', 18 years old and formerly of Club Athletico Paranaense, arrived in Barcelona this Wednesday, after both entities agreed to bring forward his incorporation to Barça to this winter market, according to a statement from the Catalan team.
“Vitor Roque landed in Barcelona this Wednesday morning and is experiencing his first hours as a 'culer' in Barcelona,” the Barça entity announced on its website, after the young player, aged 18, arrived at the Catalan city “first thing in the morning”.
Timóteo's will play for FC Barcelona until the 2030-31 season, after the agreement reached by FC Barcelona and Club Athletico Paranaense for the transfer of the player, with a termination clause of 500 million euros.
In the agreement announced in the summer, Vitor Roque was scheduled to join in the 2024-25 season, but at the beginning of December Club Athletico Paranaense confirmed that 'Tigrinho' would head to Barcelona in the winter market, given the doubts in the team. Xavi Hernández during the first stretch of the season, especially in terms of effectiveness.
After landing in Barcelona early this Wednesday morning, the Brazilian striker is scheduled to exercise with his teammates in this Friday's session.
