Vicente Moreno, dismissed as coach of Almería

MADRID, 29 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Coach Vicente Moreno was dismissed this Friday as coach of UD Almería, due to the “bad results” at the start of the season, with the rojiblancos, still without winning, in relegation positions, as announced by the club through a statement.

The “bad results” of the team, which only has two points in the classification as bottom and still without winning after seven days played, have been the main reasons for the dismissal of Vicente Moreno who arrived at the club in July. Furthermore, Almería regretted “above all” the “image” that the Andalusian team gave at the Sánchez-Pizjuán, where they were defeated 5-1 by Sevilla.

However, UD Almería thanked the “professionalism and commitment” of the Valencian coach and the members of his coaching staff during his time with the red and white team.

Almería will play their next League match against Granada next Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Power Horse Stadium, a match for which the club has not yet confirmed who will be in charge of sitting on the bench.
