Upamecano and Rabiot, absent from France’s training session prior to the semifinal

MADRID, 13 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The center-back Dayot Upamecano and the midfielder Adrien Rabiot have been the two absences in the training of the French team prior to the semifinals against Morocco this Wednesday (8:00 p.m.) in the World Cup in Qatar.

Both players are doubtful for the match before the revelation of the tournament, and their possible loss would be a problem in Didier Deschamps’ scheme, since the two players are starters with the French coach – they have played from the start in four of the five matches disputed by the Gauls.

The French team, defending champion, has to advance to its second consecutive World Cup final, something that has not happened since 1998, when Brazil achieved it. Indeed, the ‘Canarinha’ is also the last team to revalidate the title, 60 years ago, in 1962.
