Unzué meets with Xavi, Sergi Roberto and Lewandowski before the game against ELA

MADRID, 23 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The former player and part of the FC Barcelona coaching staff, Juan Carlos Unzué, visited the sports city of Sant Joan Despí, where he met with Xavi Hernández, Robert Lewandowski and Sergi Roberto, on the occasion of the charity match between the Blaugrana team and Manchester City to combat ALS, a disease suffered by exporters.

Juan Carlos Unzué met his former player, Xavi Hernández, and the club’s star signing this summer, Robert Lewandowski. In addition, Sergi Roberto also participated in the meeting, who knows the disease first-hand having had to suffer a case in a family member.

As Barça indicated this Tuesday, in the meeting held this Monday, the four chatted and photographed each other for a good cause, joining together to make visible a disease that has no cure and for which funds will be raised in the match through actions such as the launch of a commemorative scarf whose profits will go entirely to the Luzon Foundation.

In addition, the producer Jordi Cubino has created a song that symbolizes the fight against ALS, entitled ‘Ara’ and performed by Miki Núñez, as another of the great novelties of this match. The match, which pits FC Barcelona against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, will be played at the Spotify Camp Nou this Wednesday (9:30 p.m.).
