Unicaja takes Andorra for its ninth straight victory

Granada and Breogán win from below

Unicaja won (81-87) this Saturday in their visit to MoraBanc Andorra on matchday 13 of the Endesa League to maintain their incredible momentum with nine wins in a row, while BAXI Manresa reacted to get into the 'Top 8' and Below, Coviran Granada and Río Breogán added important victories.

Ibon Navarro's men started strong but had to sweat to extend their streak against an Andorra that suffered its sixth straight defeat. The ninth, tenth in the table, Unicaja's best streak in the last 17 years, was led by Tyler Kalinoski, with 18 points, although Dylan Osetkowski shone again.

Meanwhile, BAXI Manresa held on to Nou Congost, after losing away from home the last two days, to defeat Bàsquet Girona (101-87). The locals dominated from the beginning and counted on a great David Robinson, author of 19 points and 10 rebounds, to equal the Girona team in seven wins.

The day brought Breogán's fourth victory of the season, which beat Surne Bilbao Basket (68-76), and Coviran Granada, 109-85 against last-place Zunder Palencia. The Lugo team came back in the last quarter, where Justin Anderson scored 11 of his 15 points.

Furthermore, the Nasrid team broke the match from the second act thanks to a great Lluis Costa (20 points), who together with Joe Thomasson, Cristiano Felicio and Kwan Cheatham produced the Andalusians' biggest victory in the League.
