The current champion of the Cup of SM the King of Rugby, SilverStorm The
Salvador, and the current champion of the Division of Honor, UE Santboiana, have agreed to play the XIX Super Cup in Spain within the calendar of the league competition, the Spanish Federation (FER) reported on Wednesday.
The two teams have endorsed their decision with the FER and the
National Association of Rugby Clubs (ANCR), which means that the date of the competition becomes February 5,
2023, coinciding with the twelfth and penultimate day of the first league phase when they meet at the Baldiri Aleu Stadium.
The FER pointed out that once this match has been played, the winner could be proclaimed champion of the Super Cup if UE Santboiana and SilverStorm El Salvador are framed in the same group of the second phase of the Division of Honor. If they coincide, then there would be a return duel in the fields of Pepe Rojo that would decide the winner of the title.
