TVE signs Pablo Iglesias as Jaime Cantizano’s talk show host

Pablo Iglesias He has a new job and it is not the tavern that has just opened in the Madrid neighborhood of Lavapiés. The former leader of Podemos and vice president of the Government signs for TVE as a new collaborator of Morningsthe program that presents Jaime Cantizano in La 1.

Pablo Iglesias’ debut at the political table of this magazine will take place this Monday and he will share a debate with the former Ciudadanos deputy Edmundo Bal, the PSOE spokesperson in the Madrid City Council, Emma López, and the former PP minister José Manuel García-Margallo .

With this signing, Pablo Iglesias resumes his work as a television talk show host, which made him so popular for years on programs such as The Sixth Night. The interventions he made in that program gave him great prominence in the media and were the prelude to his leap into politics in the 2014 European elections.

Later, he was elected deputy in Congress and became vice president of the Government. He resigned in 2021 and ran as a candidate for the Community of Madrid that same year. However, he left politics after the poor results he achieved in those elections against Ayuso.

Pablo Iglesias launched his own media outlet, Canal Red, last year. In addition, he has recently made headlines for opening a bar in Lavapiés (Madrid).
