Antonio Conte is about to incorporate his third signing for next season. After Ivan Perisic (Inter) and goalkeeper Fraser Forster (Southampton), Tottenham have reached an agreement with Brighton to add Malian midfielder Ives Bissouma, 25, to their squad in exchange for 30 million pounds (34, €6 million).

Tottenham already wanted to sign Bissouma in January, but then the operation did not materialize. Now all that remains is for the player to pass the medical examination this week and agree on the terms of his contract so that the transfer is final.
Bissouma arrived at Brighton in July 2018 from Lille and since then has played 124 games, including 26 in the Premier League in the 2021-2022 season. His contract with the southern English club expires in June 2023.
His contribution in midfield has been key for Brighton, led by Graham Potter, to finish in ninth place in the Premier, their best ranking in history.
