Toni Bou leads Repsol Honda’s double in the Pamplona X-Trial

MADRID, 26 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish rider Toni Bou (Repsol Honda) has conquered the victory in the X-Trial of Pamplona, the third round of the Indoor Trial World Championship, leading a podium that was also completed by his teammate Gabriel Marcelli and Jaime Busto.

In the first round, Bou qualified second with just three penalty points. Despite the fact that he made even fewer mistakes on the second lap, the Repsol Honda team rider took third place in the final. The Catalan knew how to remain calm at the most decisive moment of the event and took the victory with just three penalty points.

For his part, Marcelli continued to demonstrate his progress. In the first round he qualified third, adding only one point more than his teammate. However, a perfectly completed second round -without any errors-, gave him the pass to the final. In it, the Repsol Honda team rider went from less to more, accumulating penalty points in the first sections, but smoothing them out with a good performance in the last ones.

Thus, Toni Bou increased his overall leadership with 58 points, while Gabriel Marcelli maintains third place with 40. The next match will be on April 7 in Bordeaux (France).
