This will be his long-awaited reunion with Princess Leonor

Almost 10 months after arriving at UWC Atlantic College in Wales, the Infanta Sofia finished the first year of International Baccalaureate this Friday, just like her sister, the Princess Eleanortwo years ago.

In the final stretch of the course, beyond preparing for the final exams, the infanta – like the rest of her classmates – has participated in the United Kingdom Volunteer Week, where they enjoyed several talks and discussions.

Likewise, while the students were taking the last tests of the course, the Infanta’s school has held camps in Pembrokeshire, bathed by the Irish Sea.

If everything goes as planned, the youngest daughter of Felipe VI and Doña Letizia is expected to return to Zarzuela to enjoy her summer vacation in the coming days. However, she will not meet her sister until next June 19, the day on which Leonor finishes her course at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza and on which 10 years have passed since the proclamation of Felipe VI.

While waiting for the official events to be detailed, the kings and their daughters could participate in several institutional events next Wednesday. Infanta Sofía and Princess Leonor will be able to attend together a meeting with children their age who have been awarded by foundations linked to the Royal House, as noted Ok Diary.
