The women’s U-17 sweeps France (6-1) and qualifies for the European final

MADRID, 16 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The U-17 women’s soccer team qualified this Wednesday for its third consecutive final of the European Championship of the category after beating France 7-1 in the semifinals, its executioner in last year’s title match.

Spanish women’s football continues to bring joy and this time a new one arrived through the lower categories, a new example of the present and future that exists today. The team coached by Kenio Gonzalo, who also qualified for the World Cup, was devastating and eliminated the current champions from the field to seek their fifth title against England, the first after 2018 and after losing the last two finals.

Spain brilliantly ended the chances of re-editing the title for a France that after half an hour had conceded six goals, two from Alba Cerrato and another two from Lúa Arufe, plus one from Celia Segura and Ainoa Gómez, those in charge of opening the scoring. Abdourahim scored the French honor after the break.
