The Spanish women’s road cycling team began a ten-day concentration this Tuesday in Sierra Nevada (Granada) to continue carrying out teamwork and begin the preparatory path for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
As reported by the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC), Mavi García, Ane Santesteban, Sandra Alonso, Sara Martín and Mireia Benito will participate in this high-altitude concentration, along with two juniors, Paula Ostiz and Esmeralda Racionero, all of them under the gaze of the coach Gema Pascual.
The seven cyclists will stay at the Sierra Nevada CAR from March 19 to March 28 and during this period they will alternate days of adaptation with gentle training, with others of high quality and important recovery work to assimilate the efforts and adaptations acquired during these days.
