The Spanish team starts the European Roller Hockey Championship by overwhelming Andorra

MADRID, 15 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish men’s roller hockey team kicked off the European Championship that is being played in the Portuguese town of Paredes on Monday with a resounding victory over the modest Andorra 11-0.

As planned, the team led by Guillem Cabestany had no problems in its premiere at the continental event and that served to ‘warm up’ before a much higher level duel that it will have this Tuesday against Italy, which lost to France.

Spain only took 20 seconds to open the scoring through Ignacio Alabart and from there he was able to settle on the track and hardly give the Andorrans any options, who already fell by a clear 6-0 at halftime.

Alabart, Pau Bargalló and Ferran Font signed doubles for a Spanish team that did not slacken after passing through the dressing rooms, while the rest of the goals of the match were the work of Sergi Panadero, Marc Grau, Toni Pérez and Sergi Aragonès.
