This Friday, the Swedish team showed its solidarity with Spain after what happened after the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand before the start of the match that measured them in the 2023-2024 Nations League at the Gamla Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg.

The eleven Spanish players chosen by Montse Tomé for the start of this new competition initially posed wearing white wristbands and with the message #SeAcabó, which became popular when they raised their voices after what happened at the RFEF Assembly on the 25th of last and the number ’10’ by Jenni Hermoso, also raising her arms and fists as a sign of strength.

Subsequently, the Spanish and Swedish internationals got together to pose for a photo in which they displayed a banner carried by Alexia Putellas that read ‘#It’sAcabó. Our fight is the global fight’. It is also the stands of the Gothenburg stadium, which applauded that moment, there were displays of support and affection for the Spanish soccer players and Jenni Hermoso.

“They have been through a lot and it is sad that they have had to be a part of this, but it is a fight worth fighting. They take up the fight for the next generation. This is not a sports issue but a society-wide issue. I am proud of them and it is important that they feel the support of the entire world. It should not have to be like this in 2023. It is time to change,” Kosovare Asllani, captain of the world number one, had warned.
