The Nationale-Nederlanden San Silvestre Vallecana Mini, a 10k race aimed at children under 16 years of age and which will be held at the Vallehermoso Stadium on the morning of December 23, has opened its registration this Thursday and will have the novelty that its participants will run with a shirt equal to that of the absolute San Silvestre Vallecana.
“This year, children between 0 and 16 years old who participate in the Mini race will have their own t-shirt. It will be a piece from the Boomerang brand, with the same design as the official race t-shirt, but adapted to children’s sizes,” indicated the organizers of the San Silvestre through a press release.
“For this edition, the number of participants will increase from 2,000 to 3,000 children, given the success of participation in recent years. As in previous years, the registration price will be 3 euros and will go entirely to prevention projects. childhood obesity through the Gasol Foundation,” the note alluded to the non-profit organization of brothers Pau and Marc Gasol.
“To warm up our engines,” according to the same note, this coming November 25, a training session will also be held from 10:00 a.m. also in Vallehermoso, “in which fathers, mothers, sons and daughters will participate together” for “a family day in which more than 200 participants are expected”.
