The Ruiz-Mateos family dressed up this Saturday for the wedding of Joaquín Bohórquez Ruiz-Mateos (one of the businessman’s grandchildren José María Ruiz-Mateos) e Isabel García-Morales Merino. Despite the rain and low temperatures, the couple said ‘I do’ in the Cathedral of Plasencia. Around 300 guests have traveled to the vicinity of the church to attend the wedding.
The groom has arrived at the religious temple accompanied by his mother, Patricia Ruiz-Mateos. Although the grandson of José María Ruíz-Mateos has not made statements to the press, his mother has stated that she was not nervous at all.
Half an hour later, Isabel García Morales arrived full of joy and very smiling wearing an off-white suit by the Madrid designer Navascués. Her bridal look consists of a corset-effect bodice, puffed sleeves and a loose, straight-cut skirt. She has combined her dress with an off-white veil. As accessories, the brand new bride has opted for an elegant and discreet tiara.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and all the guests traveled to the historic Parador de Plasencia, where the reception takes place. It is a 15th century building, located in the heart of the municipality.
Joaquín studied Business Administration and Management in Dublin. Since 2017 he has worked as a Performance Specialist in the IPG Mediabrands PT agency group. In addition, he combines his work as a businessman with that of a social worker. For eight years, he has been helping people who are in a precarious situation. For his part, the bride is a Primary Education English teacher. For 5 years, she collaborated at a food bank.
