The RFET and Renault will support the young promises of Spanish tennis

The Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET) and the car company Renault signed a new sponsorship agreement with the aim of developing “innovative projects” with a social impact linked to the promotion of tennis and the young promises of national tennis.

“With the support of Renault, the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation will continue to promote direct aid to tournaments, thanks to which young tennis players have the opportunity to compete on national territory in order to make the leap to the elite,” he explained. the federation in a statement.

In addition, the launch of a “powerful activation” is planned to attract more public to these tournaments, and Renault will make available to the RFET a fleet of the Nuevo Austral E-Tech full hybrid to help fight the environment and against carbon footprint.

Renault is also preparing a series of experiences that will allow fans to live new emotions during tournaments, such as a virtual reality challenge in which they can participate in an immersive game, the winner of which will get a ticket to Roland Garros for two people.

The beginning of this relationship will start at the ATP Challenger Campo Villa de Madrid, which will take place from April 10 to 16, while the sponsorship will last for an initial period of three years. The agreement was signed this Friday at the Renault Group headquarters in Madrid, with the president of the RFET, Miguel Díaz, and the general director of Renault, Alpine and Mobilie Iberia, Sébastien Guigues.

“We are tremendously excited about the incorporation of this new sponsor to our projects. The agreement signed for three years will serve to strengthen tournaments of all categories, both women’s and men’s, and will allow us to consolidate the enormous base of tournaments that have brought our country and that allows us to have the best competition structure in the world”, assured the president of the RFET.

For his part, Sébastien Guigues added that Renault is “proud” to be linked to the RFET. “We are reinforcing our commitment to sport and especially to tennis, where we are already a Premium sponsor of Roland Garros. This agreement will allow us to find new generations of athletes”, he assessed.
