MADRID, 27 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) wanted to send a message to society, through the footballers Eunate Arraiza and Naroa Maldonado, to promote the inclusion of deaf people in the world of sport, just when it is celebrated, on the 28th. September, the International Day of the Deaf.
Arraiza and Maldonado are members of the Spanish national team of deaf people and futsal players. Naroa plays for Touring KE in Guipúzcoa, and Arraiza, an international for the Spanish women’s team and a player in the First Division for many years, linked almost her entire career to Athletic Club, now plays for CA Osasuna Femenino.
Both are deaf people and both feel football in a very special way, but with the same intensity as the rest of the people in our society. “The RFEF is at the side of all people to bring a message of inclusion through football through its Department of Equality, Social Responsibility and Sustainability. For football for all, without barriers!”, highlights the organization federative.
