Changes in the First Federation, futsal and women’s football

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) announced this Monday a “wide restructuring” to give “a new impetus” to the different federative areas of the organization, with the appointment of new presidents and directors in different areas.

Thus, several modifications have been announced in the federative organization chart. The First Federation will continue with the presidency of Joan Soteras, who will have Javier Vich as director of the category. Vich has been linked in recent years to Levante, where he performed the functions of director of business development and manager of the Foundation.

For his part, Rafael Louzán will take charge of the Second Federation and Pablo Burillo assumes the presidency of the Third Federation, with Pedro González Segura as director of both competitions.

“The First Federation focuses its second season of life with the challenge of continuing to grow and consolidate a category with high monitoring and spectacular indicators. An attractive format that will be reinforced with a new commitment from the RFEF to continue its expansion,” he said. the statement, which also reported that the category will have an exclusive marketing and communication team to “provide service to the clubs and harmonize the visual identity”.

FEDE VIDAL WILL ALSO EXERCISE AS SPORTS DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL

In Futsal, the new president of the National Committee will be José Miguel Monje. Pep Sansó, new president of the Balearic Islands, has been appointed as president of the RFEF Training Commission and Kepa Arrieta, president of the Alavesa Federation, assumes the role of president of the RFEF Infrastructure Committee.

In addition, Javier Lorente, international and with a long and successful career, joins the RFEF as director of Futsal. The national coach, Fede Vidal, national coach, will also act, after these modifications, as sports director, a plot to which he incorporates José Gómez Monsoliu as technical secretary.

NEW AID PACKAGE FOR WOMEN’S FOOTBALL

At that meeting of presidents, a new aid package for the development of Spanish women’s football was also approved, for which each club will receive 100,000 or 50,000 euros, depending on the category.

This impulse, approved by the territorial presidents, at the proposal of Luis Rubiales, will fall on the clubs of the First Women’s Federation, which will each receive 100,000 euros next season, and the Second Women’s Federation, benefiting from an aid of 50,000 euros. “It is a measure that consolidates the seamless support of the RFEF in its commitment to women’s football,” settled the RFEF note.
