All the details of the wedding of Carmen Ballesteros, Emilio Botín’s granddaughter: from the bride’s daring dress to the guests

For her big day, Carmen Ballesteros chose a bridal dress from the Rosa Clará brand. The garment, with a sweetheart neckline, is full of lace and transparencies. Likewise, Ballesteros opted for a long-sleeved bolero jacket and a fluid overskirt. To complement her look, the bride dazzled with a large veil and gathered her hair in a low bun.

On this special day, Carmen remembered her father, Severiano Ballesteros, who died in 2011. A few days before the wedding, the bride confessed: “I have a surprise in your honor“.

The ceremony was held on the farm that the Botín family has in the Cantabrian municipality of Puente San Miguel. Well-known relatives of the bride traveled there, such as her aunt and godmother, Ana Patricia Botínpresident of the Santander bank, or the grandmother of Emilio Botín’s girlfriend and widow, Paloma 0’Shea. For the occasion, Carmen’s grandmother selected an elegant dress in color nude with a flower print.

Carmen Ballesteros and Juan Diego García celebrated their pre-wedding with a big party at the house-museum that Severiano Ballesteros built in Pedreña, their hometown.
