The RFEF gives the green light to the Spanish women’s team match in Riazor on July 16

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) approved this Thursday that the match scheduled for next July 16 between the Spanish and Belgian national teams, within the qualifying phase for the 2025 Women’s Euro Cup, will be played at the Stadium from Riazor (La Coruña).

Through a meeting of its Board of Directors, held in the Ciudad del Fútbol of Las Rozas (Madrid), the RFEF gave the green light to the dispute of that duel, corresponding to the sixth day of the qualifying phase of said Euro Cup, scheduled from the 2nd to July 27, 2025 in Switzerland.

“This is one of the agreements adopted during the meeting, which also detailed the creation of the Coordination Committee of the RFEF, LaLiga and Liga F; the reactivation of the federation’s Commissions, as well as the new appointments in the institution that runs football in Spain,” concluded the RFEF in its press release.
