The Raiders recruit General Manager Tom Telesco.

Telesco commences his 29th season in the NFL, having served as the general manager for the Chargers for the previous eleven seasons.

He assisted the franchise in achieving three postseason appearances and two victories during his tenure in San Diego or Los Angeles.

Additionally, he acquired six first-round selections for the team, including Derwin James Jr., Rashawn Slater, Jason Verrett, Melvin Gordon III, Joey Bosa, and Derwin James Jr.

In 2022, Telesco drafted, traded for, and signed eight former Pro Bowlers to assemble the roster.

The Colts appeared in the postseason twelve times, won eight division titles, and participated in two Super Bowls during his tenure in Indianapolis.

Before transitioning to the Chargers, Telesco accumulated 15 seasons of experience with the Indianapolis Colts, during which time he held the following positions: Vice President of Football Operations (2012), Director of Player Personnel (2006–11), Director of Pro Scouting (2004–05), area scout (1998–2000), and pro scout (2011–33).

The Colts selected four-time Pro Bowl RB Edgerrin James, five-time Pro Bowl receiver Reggie Wayne, seven-time Professional Bowler Dwight Freeney, and four-time Super Bowl quarterback Andrew Luck through drafts in which Telesco was involved.

Before being promoted to area scout in 1997, Telesco began his NFL career in 1995 as a scouting assistant to the Carolina Panthers, a position he held for two seasons. Additionally, he interned with the Buffalo Bills during the summers of 1991 and 1994.

A native of Buffalo, New York, Telesco earned a business management degree from John Carroll University. His tenure with the 1994 Ohio Athletic Conference champion Blue Streaks was spent as a starting wide receiver.

The NFL invited him to speak at its Career Development Symposium in both 2015 and 2018. Additionally, he holds the position of co-chairman of the NFL General Managers Advisory Committee.

Following the divisional round playoff victory of the Kansas City Chiefs over the Buffalo Bills (27–24) on Sunday, Patrick Mahomes had been understandably enraged.

The Chiefs qualified for their sixth consecutive AFC title game with this victory, following a comparatively lackluster regular season wherein they concluded at the No. 3 seed within the conference thanks to an 11-6 record.

In the postgame locker room of the Kansas City Chiefs, NFL Films captured Mahomes delivering a vehement address to his teammates, wherein he criticized those who had predicted that the team would suffer a loss in his inaugural road playoff game against Buffalo.

Numerous individuals cited the Chiefs’ visit to Buffalo as a significant factor in the Bills’ potential postseason victory over Kansas City. Dion Dawkins, a tackle for the Bills, confirmed this to reporters on Thursday.

“[Mahomes] has entered the field only once. Consequently, he has never been here. “Simple as that,” Dawkins stated, as reported by Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.

“Pat has never attended the Bills’ stadium in its entirety… Although the environment may not be in our favor, the stadium itself is in our favor. The stadium represents us. That is beneficial to us.”

Mahomes recalled this following the Chiefs’ victory and plastered “Good luck” on Dawkins’ Instagram. Elena is the daughter of Larah Telesco and her spouse; Thomas and Nicholas are their sons.

At 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, the Chiefs will endeavor to reclaim the AFC championship by traveling to Baltimore. It will be worthwhile to observe whether or not a Ravens player makes a remark that Mahomes uses as motivation.

After defeating the Buffalo Bills on Sunday to advance towards the AFC championship game, Kansas City Chiefs player Patrick Mahomes gave an inspirational pep talk to his teammates.

Coach Andy Reid and Mahomes, who were surrounded by Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, and others, concurred that their work is not yet complete. The following opponent is the Baltimore Ravens.

“Hey, they asked for it, so they got the item they asked for,” Mahomes commented. “However, Andy Reid stated it. “This is not yet complete. We will be prepared to proceed the following week.”

Reid stated that it is not yet appropriate to dance. It is still necessary for them to defeat the Ravens in order to advance to victory in the Super Bowl before any festivities can commence. The Ravens will be the most formidable opponent the Chiefs have faced thus far.

Kansas City must accomplish this while traveling. Sunday night at M&T Bank Stadium, the Baltimore Ravens will be hosting a conference champion for the first time in their history.
